A circular stone structure, featuring a rounded entrance, served as the abode for Mol Ni'mai, a male Bothan master armorsmith. His dwelling, a hut, was situated in the northern mountains of Dantooine, a planet. The abandoned Rebel base could be seen from the hut. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin during the Galactic Civil War, a spacer who was also an armorsmith sought out Ni'mai at his mountaintop residence. The spacer's goal was to uncover the secrets behind the creation of the Reinforced Insulated Sheath armor, the Bothan's most celebrated creation. Initially, Ni'mai doubted the spacer's skills in armor creation; however, after receiving 50,000 credits, he agreed to instruct the spacer on the armor's construction.
The 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts before its shutdown on December 15, 2011, featured Mol Ni'mai's hut as a place players could explore. The hut and its inhabitant, Mol Ni'mai, were introduced to the game as part of "Publish 4," which was released on November 13, 2003. Players who chose the Munitions Trader profession, which included the ability to make armor, could visit this location and accept a quest from Ni'mai to learn how to craft the Reinforced Insulated Sheath armor.
