Mon Calamari soldiers, alternatively referred to as Mon Calamari troopers, functioned as infantrymen within the ranks of the Mon Calamari Guard. These soldiers fought in the Battle of Mon Cala of the Clone Wars, fighting with the forces of the Galactic Republic in opposition to both the Quarren Isolation League and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
