The Mongrel Altar was an altar that was built in a naturally occurring low area. This altar contained the Eternal Pyre and was positioned just to the east of the Valley of the Dark Lords on the planet Korriban.
The Sith Empire erected the Mongrel Altar near the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban. It was situated in a natural depression that contained the Eternal Pyre. After the arrival of the Dark Jedi Exiles, Dark Lord of the Sith Sorzus Syn spearheaded an exploration of the planet, visiting significant locations to gather knowledge about Sith culture. At the pyre, she found the Altar, which was hidden behind a mural depicting King Adas. Inside the altar, a collection of cursed scrolls and the headless body of Wyrmuk the Undying were concealed. The scrolls, submerged in a pool of bloody liquid, held a variety of Sith spells and enchantments.
