Morjakar, a planetoid originating from a system located far across the galaxy, experienced a catastrophic event when its star expanded into a red giant. This expansion engulfed all of its planets with the exception of Morjakar. Consequently, the equilibrium between the planet's gravity and its centrifugal force was seemingly disturbed, causing Morjakar to be propelled into the vast expanse of deep space. Ultimately, it drifted into the Cularin system, without actually becoming a constituent of it, and was ensnared by the powerful gravitational field of the system's binary stars. The planetoid then established itself in an unusual orbit, characterized by its eccentricity and its atypical angle relative to the other planets in the system, leading to it sometimes being overlooked by passing scouts.
As of 31 BBY, there was no confirmed evidence of any inhabitants ever residing on the planetoid, primarily because a thorough investigation of the planetoid had not been conducted.
