Termadus, located in the Cularin system, was the white dwarf that orbited the main sequence star Morasil. It was significantly younger than Morasil. A cloud of gas formed in the space separating them, the result of Termadus siphoning gases from Morasil's outer atmosphere. The light emitted by Termadus, Morasil, and the intervening gas combined to produce a single, brilliant point of light. The combined presence of the two stars also resulted in a hyperspace shadow that was disproportionately large compared to what either star would produce on its own.
