Mosgoth


Mosgoths were sizable flying reptiles that originated from Togoria, the homeworld of the Togorian species. The Togorian people, establishing bonds with these creatures, utilized them as mounts.

Liphons, another flying reptile species, frequently hunted both mosgoths and the early Togorians. Recognizing their shared adversary, the Togorians began establishing camps adjacent to mosgoth nesting sites, seeking mutual defense. Over time, the Togorians successfully domesticated the mosgoths, subsequently employing them as riding animals. This event marked a turning point, leading to the emergence of a Togorian civilization characterized by settled females and nomadic male hunters who rode mosgoths on hunting expeditions. Even following their integration into galactic society, Togorians, both male and female, generally favored traveling on foot or riding mosgoths over using motorized transportation. The bond between Togorians and their mosgoth mounts was particularly strong.

DqellSisters-KOTOR41 D'qell Sisters on Mosgoths. Mosgoths were readily domesticated and possessed the physical strength required to carry a Togorian male on their backs during flight. Furthermore, they seemed to enjoy being petted, a trait common among many domesticated creatures.

Mlatar Thon Gra, a Togorian Master Smith who was also a member of the Zulirian Swordmasters, had a mosgoth named Ktlin as his personal mount.
