Captain Mullinore of the Imperial Navy commanded the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Basilisk. He served under the command of Admiral Daala, tasked with safeguarding the Maw Installation. Born on the world of Taanab, Mullinore cultivated a consistently formal demeanor.
After Han Solo and [Kyp Durron](/article/kyp_durron] absconded with the Sun Crusher, destroying the Star Destroyer named Hydra in the process, Daala gave Mullinore orders to pursue the stolen superweapon aboard the Basilisk. While in pursuit of the Sun Crusher, Mullinore's ship was caught in the crossfire between Moruth Doole's fleet above Kessel and Solo piloting the Millennium Falcon, resulting in damage to the Basilisk.
Later on, Mullinore participated in operations against a New Republic colony located on Dantooine and an assault directed at the Mon Calamari homeworld, also known as Mon Calamari. During this engagement, Mullinore witnessed the destruction of the Star Destroyer Manticore. Following this battle, Mullinore and his ship retreated to the Cauldron Nebula, where Daala devised a plan for a suicide attack on Coruscant. The strategy involved the Basilisk being flown by a minimal crew, intentionally crashing into the planet's surface. Initially, Mullinore reacted negatively to the news of his ship's impending destruction, but he eventually accepted the plan and even volunteered to pilot the vessel on its final mission. However, before Daala's intentions could be carried out, Durron arrived with the Sun Crusher and triggered a supernova within the nebula. The resulting explosion annihilated the Basilisk and all crew members remaining onboard, including Mullinore.
