The Mumbri Storve functioned as a shady cantina. It was located on a planet within the Dona Laza sector, found in the Expansion Region.
During the period of the Thrawn campaign, specifically 9 ABY, Wedge Antilles, along with fellow New Republic pilots Derek Klivian and Wes Janson, paid a visit to the Mumbri Storve. This occurred shortly before the Battle of Bilbringi. The trio remained at the cantina for a single hour, attempting to subtly suggest that the New Republic forces intended to strike Tangrene, rather than Bilbringi. Initially, their efforts proved successful, as a Walrus-faced Aqualish spy was observed tailing them. However, upon their departure, they were intercepted by Aves, an associate of Talon Karrde's smuggling organization. Aves, accompanied by two of his subordinates, proceeded to incapacitate the freelance Imperial spy, rendering him unconscious.
Aves gave Antilles his word that the Aqualish freelancer would not be delivering any reports to Imperial Intelligence anytime soon. Consequently, their evening dedicated to disseminating misleading information seemed to have been in vain. Determined to salvage their mission, Antilles provided Aves with a clue, hinting that the New Republic would be launching an attack on Tangrene in twenty-eight hours, hoping that the smuggler might sell this intelligence to the Empire. Subsequently, the Rogue Squadron pilots and the group of smugglers went their separate ways. As they parted, Aves informed Antilles that any messages left with the night bartender at the Dona Laza tapcafe would find their way to him.
After this meeting, Aves and his crew departed the area using a landspeeder, taking the still-unconscious Aqualish spy with them.
