This individual with a walrus-like face was a male Aqualish who operated as a freelance intelligence operative in the service of the Galactic Empire. His area of operation was a world situated within the Dona Laza sector of the Expansion Region.
During the period of the Thrawn campaign in 9 ABY, New Republic fighter jocks Wedge Antilles, Derek Klivian, and Wes Janson made their way to the Mumbri Storve establishment shortly before the Battle of Bilbringi. They remained at the cantina for a sixty-minute period, attempting to subtly suggest that the New Republic would be launching an assault on Tangrene rather than Bilbringi. Initially, their plan proved successful, as the Walrus-faced Aqualish agent was observed tailing them. However, upon their departure, they were intercepted by Aves, an associate of Talon Karrde's illicit syndicate. Aves, accompanied by two of his cohorts, incapacitated the independent Imperial operative by rendering him unconscious.
Aves assured Antilles that the Aqualish mercenary would be unable to transmit any reports to Imperial Intelligence in the immediate future. Consequently, their evening dedicated to disseminating false information appeared to have been in vain. To salvage their objective, Antilles provided Aves with a hint that the New Republic would be attacking Tangrene in twenty-eight hours, hoping that the smuggler might sell the information to the Empire. The Rogue Squadron aviators and the group of smugglers then parted ways, with Aves informing Antilles that any messages left with the mixologist at the Dona Laza bar would reach him.
Following this interaction, Aves and his associates departed the location in a ground vehicle, with the still-unconscious Aqualish spy in their possession.
