Myrette "Rette" Davani, a Human female, was the offspring of Nils and Haryette.
Davani's place of birth was Beheboth, and her father was a Clone Wars veteran. She signed up for the Coruscani Pilot Institute, where she trained to be a TIE pilot, and became very close with Shira Brie, who was in the same class. She departed CPI in 0.5 ABY, finishing as the second best in her class after Shira. The two of them then moved to the Academy of Carida for their last year, where they continued to be roommates and good friends.
During a training exercise that involved MT-STs, Brie's vehicle had live weaponry, resulting in the deaths of twelve enemy cadets. Appalled, Davani told her parents about it. Without her knowledge, Darth Vader had chosen Brie to learn the dark side.
Davani graduated as the salutatorian from the Naval Academy. She then served with the 722nd "Copperheads" and worked in flight operations aboard the Attaintor. She achieved the title of Flight Captain and served as Soontir Fel's wingman in the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing.
