He, along with a number of other people, were convening to deliberate on their respective advantages and the potential shifts to those advantages, given that the Republic had been compelled to ratify the Treaty of Coruscant by the restored Sith Empire. As the assembly commenced, Naatu was revealed to have been a source of intelligence for the Republic; consequently, Nok Drayen promptly killed him, and then introduced Lord Angral to the attendees, in order to extend an offer to the group.
