Naboo bamboo, taking its moniker from the Naboo planet located in the Mid Rim, was a variety of bamboo. Churo, a Hutt, cultivated Naboo bamboo within a tank situated in his greenhouse laboratory during the High Republic Era. This laboratory was part of his family's palace found on Nal Hutta, an Outer Rim planet. In 228 BBY, Churo noticed the Naboo bamboo tank was empty while his sister, Dahara Devirsivik Norri, was in his laboratory engaging in conversation with him.
The junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, penned by Zoraida Córdova and released in 2024 as a component of Phase III of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia initiative, featured Naboo bamboo.
