Naist was a member of a team taking part in a robbery against the Hutts, the team being led by Jet Kordo.
At some point before the year 3 ABY, Naist became a part of a crew. This crew included Jet Kordo, who was a smuggler, a droid known as H1-0N, Raatha who was a Rodian bounty hunter, and Dorhal. They were planning a heist with the goal of stealing from the Hutt Clan. Naist was unaware that Dorhal had betrayed the crew to the Hutts. This betrayal resulted in increased security, preventing Raatha from providing cover for Naist during the heist, and Naist sustained several injuries.
After the heist, Naist traveled to the crew's vault, which was located in the South Jundland Wastes on the planet Tatooine. Kordo and H1-0N, who had learned of Dorhal's treachery, later met up with them there. Naist and Kordo then began arguing about Naist's share of the heist proceeds. This argument escalated into a confrontation, during which a blaster was fired, destroying H1-0N. Kordo, saddened by the loss of H1-0N, took the droid's remains to their vault on the moon called Toshara, leaving Naist behind.
The first mention and audial appearance of Naist was in the "Jet Kordo legacy" journal collectibles. These collectibles were featured in Star Wars Outlaws, a video game from 2024 that was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.
