Nar Shaddaa's Undercity, alternatively referred to as the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa or just Lower Nar Shaddaa, encompassed the subterranean tiers of the sprawling Vertical city situated on Nal Hutta's satellite, Nar Shaddaa. Situated far beneath the immense constructions that formed Nar Shaddaa's city-planet, the Undercity housed starship construction facilities controlled by the Hutt Syndicate until its destruction in 4 ABY. During her adolescent period, the Mirialan Hylo Visz was employed as a repair technician within these shipyards. The Evocii from Evocar and the indigenous population of Nar Shaddaa, known as the Ganks, also resided there. Similar to how Han Solo experienced the Coruscant's criminal depths and avoided returning, he treated Nar Shaddaa's Undercity in the same manner. In 26 ABY, the Yuuzhan Vong obliterated the Undercity, along with the entirety of the moon's surface.
