These vessels incorporated both turbolasers and hyperdrives, however, they experienced difficulties related to their combustion-shielding. The First Order Navy utilized _Nebulon-K_s as capital ships, and they possessed the ability to carry a squadron of TIE fighters externally. Following a distress signal originating from the Hevurion Grace, the private yacht belonging to Senator Erudo Ro-Kiintor, a First Order sympathizer, a Nebulon-K was included within the fleet of starships dispatched by the First Order to the Uvoss system.
The Nebulon-K made its initial debut in Before the Awakening, a 2015 novel targeted toward young readers, authored by Greg Rucka.
