Nen (star)
Nen was the central star within the Neimoidia system, found within the sectors called the Colonies and also the Slice. The planet Neimoidia and its single moon revolved around it, as it was orbited by them. Located on the Trellen Trade Route, Nen's position was at grid reference N-10 on the Standard Galactic Grid.
Behind the scenes
The initial mention of Nen within the current Star Wars canon occurred within the fifty-second issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine by De Agostini, released circa December 30, 2015. The same visual representation of Nen was also used to represent multiple other stars within Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon.
Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Nen star was first brought up in Cloak of Deception, a novel from 2001 written by James Luceno, although not directly. Its identification occurred later in The Essential Atlas, a reference work from 2009 created by Jason Fry along with Daniel Wallace.
