Nep Chung
Nep Chung was a Phuii individual (of the male variety) who belonged to the Black Sun criminal organization. Chung achieved the position of Vigo within the group, but he and the rest of the Black Sun leadership met a violent end during an assault carried out by the Sith Darth Maul.
Biography
Being a Phuii of the male gender, Nep Chung became a part of the Black Sun crime syndicate. Ultimately, he climbed the ranks to become a Vigo, one of the nine lieutenant within the organization. To ensure his personal safety, Chung employed security personnel, including a personal guard from his own species.
In the year 33 BBY, the Vigos of Black Sun unwittingly became targets chosen by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious, and his master, Darth Plagueis. The Sith did not have the time to eliminate the Vigos individually. Instead, they needed to gather them in one location to kill them all at once. Sidious instructed his apprentice Darth Maul to initially assassinate two Vigos, anticipating that the Black Sun leader, Alexi Garyn, would order the remaining Vigos to assemble at a specific location.
As expected, after the Zabrak assassin had eliminated Vigos Morn and Darnada, Garyn summoned the remaining Vigos, including Chung, to his fortress located on Ralltiir. Once the Vigos were assembled, Darth Maul infiltrated the fortress, massacred all the guards, and proceeded to the central chamber where the Vigos were meeting. Maul systematically killed the guards before executing the Vigos one after another. During the conflict, Maul used his lightsaber to kill Chung.
