A neuro-computer jack functioned as an interface, enabling a person to directly input information into their brain. Galen Panos, the High Lord of House Reena, possessed such a neuro-computer jack; this was a carefully concealed fact because of worries that rival Houses might exploit it to manipulate Panos' thoughts using specifically crafted computer software.
