The New Republic Military Academy, a military institution of learning, was founded by the New Republic on Ganthel, a Core World. Jothan Tiaan Jerjerrod, whose parents (father and mother) both served as officers within the First Order, began his education there. The academy's commander, however, held supportive views towards General Leia Organa's Resistance, and consequently dispatched the youthful Jerjerrod to D'Qar.
