The Nightsister Stronghold was situated on Dathomir, which is the Nightsisters' homeworld. This fortress functioned as a sanctuary for the exiled witches.
Just outside the stronghold's perimeter was the entrance leading to the Rancor Cave, a habitat for numerous rancors. Within the deepest sections of these caverns, one could discover the portal to the Chamber of Banishment.

The Nightsister Stronghold appeared in Star Wars Galaxies, the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. This video game was released in 2003 and was shut down on December 15, 2011.
