Nipper
Nippers constituted carnivorous lifeforms that originated from Lutrillia. This planet resided within the Yarith sector of the Outer Rim Territories. These creatures dwelled beneath the surface and frequently assaulted immobilized vehicles in the planet's desert regions. These vehicles were usually traveling between the mobile cities utilized by the indigenous Lutrillians. The collective destruction inflicted by nippers, chompers, and other underground beings led to mechanical parts becoming a valuable resource on Lutrillia.

The initial reference to Nippers appeared within "Galactic Gazetteer: Hoth and the Greater Javin," a piece composed for the revised edition of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game by Wizards of the Coast. This piece was made available on Wizards.com on March 25, 2004, and its authors included Craig R. Carey, Jason Fry, and Daniel Wallace. The Lutrillia section of the article contained the mention of the nippers.
