The Nishr Resistance represented a group of insurgents native to the world of Nishr, a planet where they were based. This group, comprised of Nish locals, fought against the Imperial occupation of their home and maintained an alliance with the Rebel Alliance's Nishr Taskforce that was active on the planet. Working together, the resistance and the Nishr Taskforce conducted operations to disrupt Imperial forces, notably destroying the majority of the Imperial garrison's vehicles in a carefully planned attack.
