A Gotal woman served as the paternal ancestor of Nittel Karkson. These two resided in a small dwelling on level four thousand of the world Coruscant. In order to provide for his grandmother, Karkson resorted to theft. During Solstice Tide, circa 232 BBY, the Jedi Master Stellan Gios discreetly trailed Karkson to his dwelling after observing him commit a theft on Republic Avenue. Upon reaching the dwelling, Gios encountered Karkson's grandmother and understood the motivation behind his stealing. Gios shared a meal of stratt stew with them, and subsequently escorted them to the Jedi Temple to acquire clean apparel and obtain a restful night's sleep.
