In the year 23 ABY, a Human male named Norys worked as a TIE pilot for the Second Imperium.
Before his time with the Second Imperium, he was the leader of a street gang by the name of the Lost Ones. This gang operated in the dangerous lower levels of Coruscant.
Upon learning of a young man named Zekk, who possessed intimate knowledge of Coruscant's undercity, Norys extended an invitation for Zekk to become a member of the gang. Norys's reasoning was that Zekk could prove valuable as his second-in-command. However, Zekk declined the offer, as he did not wish to be associated with someone as brutish as Norys. Norys had conflicting feelings about this perceived insult. On one hand, he would not have minded if Zekk was injured or killed by a member of his gang. On the other hand, he kept the invitation open for Zekk.
On a separate occasion, Zekk led a group of four other young individuals into the Lost Ones' hideout. Zekk then proceeded to criticize Norys's character. In response, Norys and his gang descended from the ceiling, surrounding the group of intruders, four of whom were Jedi trainees. Zekk then audaciously berated Norys for eavesdropping on his conversation with his companions. Norys then noticed that Zekk was carrying a hawk-bat egg and demanded that he hand it over.
Zekk, anticipating the consequences of refusing, immediately fled, abandoning his "friends." The Lost Ones pursued him, but were unsuccessful in their attempt to capture him. Norys harbored a grudge against Zekk and Jacen Solo as a result of this and other incidents.
Later, he enlisted in the Second Imperium when Zekk returned to Coruscant to encourage the Lost Ones to join the Second Imperium's ranks. It is probable that Tamith Kai employed the Force to influence Norys and the Lost Ones to heed Zekk's words, considering their history.
During the Imperium's assault on the Jedi Praxeum, he engaged Jacen and Peckhum in aerial combat. However, their transport, the Lightning Rod, successfully evaded Norys and his fellow TIE fighters. Subsequently, Qorl shot down Norys in order to protect the Lightning Rod after Norys disobeyed his orders, driven by his desire for revenge.
Norys's upbringing was difficult, resulting in him being a bully with poor dental hygiene. He derived pleasure from inflicting torment and pain on his enemies and those outside of his group.
Despite pledging to be a disciplined soldier for the Second Imperium, Norys's true motivation for joining was his love of combat. This attitude caused friction with his superior, Qorl, who found him to be consistently disobedient and impolite.
