Entax, identified as NT-X2, and his counterpart BT-X2, were originally conceived as elite Imperial assassin droids of the highest caliber. However, their intended delivery was disrupted by theft, leading them to employment under Luskin Exovar as security guards at Exovar's Emporium.
Following their theft, Entax and Botax were offloaded to Luskin Exovar by a ship hijacker as a means of settling an outstanding obligation. Luskin, possessing a deep fondness for droids, modified their operational code and realized their potential as a highly effective security unit.
Under the supervision of Redeye, the chief of security at Exovar's Emporium, the duo maintained control within the normally disorderly establishment.
Entax possessed a philosophical nature and favored using his free time to immerse himself in holonovels.
Paul Danner and Bill Smith created Entax for Wretched Hives of Scum & Villainy, a supplemental resource for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, released by West End Games in the year 1997.
