Nyrkar, a Wookiee, held a position at the Dry Goods Emporium located in Hedrett. His responsibilities encompassed both the creation of meals and providing guidance on nutrition. Cal Majjer, his boss, regarded him as the Emporium's greatest asset. Majjer often called Nyrkar "his Wookiee," despite the absence of any bond like a life debt or forced labor linking them. To the great disappointment of Majjer, Nyrkar vanished from Cularin alongside other residents, joining the ranks of the Cularin resistance.
