Nyscha

During the Galactic War era, which saw conflict between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire, she and her husband were apprehended on Waypoint Station Three. Their captors were Kyrus and Augin Blaesus, the latter being a spy for the Rift Alliance and one of the Children of the Emperor. Nevertheless, the Barsen'thor intervened and thwarted their scheme.

Biography

In the year 3642 BBY, Queen Nyscha, together with her husband Sethun, formulated a plan to contribute a full regiment to the Galactic Republic, aiming to improve the relationship between the government and the Rift Alliance. Their intention was to provide troops to assist the Barsen'thor in their fight against the [resurgent Sith Empire](/article/sith_empire_(post%e2%80%93great_hyperspace_war)]. They were stationed at Waypoint Station Three, where they planned to host a ceremony and present the Jedi with the soldiers. However, with the Barsen'thor occupied on Hoth, Senator Tobas Grell instead sent Augin Blaesus, the representative from Erigorm, as their envoy, unaware that Blaesus was secretly one of the Children of the Emperor. With the help of Lord Kyrus, they massacred all the soldiers that Nyscha and Sethun intended to provide to the Rift Alliance.

Eventually, the Barsen'thor made their way to the station, only to find that the royal family had already been captured by the Sith. Nyscha was held at the mercy of Kyrus, prompting Sethun to beg for her release. Blaesus presented Nyscha and Sethun with an offer: if they ordered their remaining guards to kill the Jedi, they and their planet would be spared from the impending destruction. The Barsen'thor cautioned them that the Sith would ultimately betray them regardless. Nyscha refused to betray the Jedi and pledge her allegiance to the Empire. This enraged Blaesus, who then instructed Kyrus to eliminate the Jedi. Nyscha and Sethun witnessed the battle as the Barsen'thor triumphed over Blaesus and Kyrus. Nyscha expressed her gratitude to the Jedi for their actions and voiced her hope that Tobas Grell and his daughter Nadia were safe, feeling indebted to them. Following their rescue, Nyscha and Sethun returned to their home world safely and granted the Republic unrestricted access to their treasury.
