Sometime either prior to, or as the First Order-Resistance War unfolded, Corellia aligned itself with the First Order, resulting in the occupation of the planet by that faction. Following the First Order's alliance with the Sith Eternal and their formidable fleet, which formed the Final Order, and their subsequent defeat during the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY, Corellia engaged in open rebellion, actively resisting the First Order's control.
