Sometime after the events of the Battle of Crait, Leia Organa tasked two distinct teams with a mission to Corellia, setting two key objectives: first, to secure a list of Resistance members being targeted by the First Order, which was being sold at a clandestine auction hosted by Collective affiliate Nifera Shu; and second, to liberate former New Republic Senator Ransolm Casterfo from First Order captivity.
In addition to these primary goals, the mission included a further aim: to commandeer any available starships for the benefit of the Resistance.
Poe Dameron spearheaded Corellian Team One, successfully acquiring the list, while Wedge Antilles led Corellian Team Two in the operation to rescue Casterfo. The two teams subsequently met at a hangar, made their escape with several vessels, and returned to the Resistance's base of operations.
In the wake of the devastating Battle of Crait, the battered Resistance retreated to Ryloth, seeking temporary sanctuary at the base of the Ryloth Defense Authority, with the permission of Yendor, a former pilot for the Rebellion.
General Organa determined that the Resistance urgently needed more starships and needed to locate individuals sympathetic to their cause. Consequently, she quickly sent Shriv Suurgav and Dross Squadron to the [Scrapper Guild](/article/scrapper_guild] on Bracca to secure additional starships that the First Order was intending to have scrapped.
Following this, the Resistance leader examined the list provided by Maz Kanata, which detailed individuals being targeted by the First Order. She noticed the initials R. C., described as a former Senator, and correctly identified him as Ransolm Casterfo, an acquaintance. Determined to rescue him, she assigned Wedge Antilles and his team to a mission in Antilles's hometown, Coronet City on Corellia.
Despite some reservations about Casterfo's survival, Wedge's wife, Norra Wexley, joined the mission, alongside former Imperial Teza Nasz, Snap Wexley, and his wife, Karé Kun. Teza remarked to Norra that Casterfo's survival wasn't improbable, as torturing and exploiting him would be a more satisfying outcome for their enemies. This comment was met with silence, broken only by Snap's question of whether Teza's presence was necessary, to which Wedge confirmed it was, given that they were using her shuttle and needed her to bypass First Order security. Norra suggested she could accomplish the same, but Nasz countered that she could do so without resorting to violence. The moment of truth had arrived to see if their strategy would succeed.
Upon arrival, Teza advised searching the Records Department, as all information would be meticulously documented. Upon reaching the office, they encountered Yama Dex, who had been brutally assaulted by her superior, Executive Records Officer Winshur Bratt. Yama offered to aid the team in their search for Casterfo, whom she remembered due to her eidetic memory. After locating the datapad on Bratt's desk, Teza accessed it to retrieve data on all prisoners and their locations.
The team swiftly proceeded to the prisoners' location and began searching for Casterfo. Discovering many other prisoners, the team decided to liberate everyone, offering them the choice to escape with them and join the Resistance or to pursue their own paths. They soon located Casterfo, who was weakened and fearful. Antilles's mention of Leia Organa and the Resistance rescue was sufficient to convince Casterfo to join them. As they were leaving, Winshur Bratt attempted to prevent Yama's escape and was about to kill her when Teza incapacitated him with a blaster shot to the stomach. With the prisoners freed and the mission accomplished, the team headed towards the shuttle. However, they realized there wasn't enough space for everyone, and they recalled the abandoned ships they had seen earlier in the hangar, including an old CR90 corvette.
Poe Dameron's team was to attend the birthday celebration of Nifera Shu, the venue for the secret auction of the list. The team divided into pairs, with Dameron partnering with Finn, posing as wealthy entrepreneurs from Canto Bight using an invitation provided by Maz Kanata, while Charth Brethen, leveraging his invitation as Ryloth [Ambassador](/article/ambassador], paired with Suralinda Javos as his assistant. Upon arrival, the pairs separated to avoid raising suspicion.
Dameron received an invitation to participate in the auction after presenting the host with an impressive birthday gift. Shortly after the auction began, the bidding exceeded the funds allocated to the mission, resulting in the team's failure to acquire the list. Dameron discussed options with his team, and their only remaining course of action was to steal the list, either from the host or from the winning bidder.
Before the team could implement their backup plan, First Order stormtroopers stormed the party, killing Nifera Shu's husband Hasadar Shu, and halting the auction. Dameron offered to help Shu escape capture in exchange for the list, which she accepted. However, the First Order locked down all transports in the hangar, trapping the team. Remembering that Antilles's team was also in Coronet City, they quickly contacted the Resistance base on Ryloth to inform them of their intention to rendezvous with Team Two to escape the First Order and Corellia.
Antilles's team proceeded to the hangar containing the ships, only to find it now guarded by several stormtroopers, who were not present earlier. They were outnumbered. Fortunately, Poe Dameron's team arrived to join them, and they devised a new strategy to access the hangar. Wedge and Norra decided to create a diversion, allowing everyone to enter the hangar and reach the ships, but their distraction attracted excessive attention from the stormtroopers. Antilles was struck by blaster fire and was unable to continue fighting, but Norra insisted on remaining with him. As they braced for the end, Poe, in a stolen starfighter, intervened at the last moment, eliminating the remaining stormtroopers. Now safe from blaster fire, Norra and Antilles made their way to the CR90 Corvette, which was already airborne with the prisoners. With everyone secure, they returned to the Resistance. The freed high-value detainees were transported to a safe house on Helmaxa, maintained by the anti-authoritarian group known as the Collective.
