Ogtur was a male Gamorrean guard. During the Galactic Civil War, he was employed by the Hutt Crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Following the Battle of Yavin which took place in 0 BBY, he served as a guard at Jabba's Palace located on the planet Tatooine.
In the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, Ogtur was one of the thirteen Gamorreans present within Jabba's palace. This detail clashed with several canonical sources that stated there were only nine Gamorreans employed at the palace. This discrepancy was further complicated by the omission of Jubnuk, Thug, Thok, Warlug, Ghana Gleemort, and Grissom from the game, which could mean that a total of nineteen Gamorrean guards were employed by Jabba.
