A communications specialist with a politically astute mind, Brit had risen to the rank of Alliance major by 4 ABY, overseeing a staff that monitored the entire spectrum of electromagnetic transmissions.
In 4 ABY, not long before the Battle of Endor, Brit was present on the MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser Home One during a briefing. At this briefing, the Alliance High Command was formulating their strategy for an assault on the Galactic Empire's second Death Star battle station. Brit was wearing the standard Alliance Fleet officer uniform.
Olander Brit, played by the uncredited Peter Roy, made his debut in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi (1983), the concluding film in the original trilogy. His scenes were shot during the week beginning Tuesday, February 16, 1982 at Stage 5 of Elstree Studios. The name Olander Brit was first given to the character by Decipher in 2000, within the Death Star II Limited expansion for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game.
