Oovo IV is found within the Oovo asteroid belt, which itself orbits the gas giant Oovo.
Located in the Outer Rim Territories, the Oovo asteroid belt was a field of asteroids orbiting the gas giant known as Oovo. Notably, this asteroid belt contained Oovo IV, an asteroid which housed the infamous high-security federal prison called Desolation Alley.
