Ocular implants, alternatively termed Optical implants, represented a form of cybernetic augmentation that substituted a person's natural eyes. These implants offered a range of advanced capabilities not found in biological eyes, such as the functionality for users to input information straight into the implant for viewing without needing a separate display.
