Orko of the H'uun lineage, formally addressed as Orko the Hutt or Orko the Foultrader, functioned as a Hutt crime lord locked in intense competition with Gorga the Hutt, the nephew of Jabba the Hutt, who was also the lover of his daughter, Anachro.
Orko was widely perceived as an unpleasant, self-centered, and avaricious Hutt, holding the Desilijics in contempt, making him an easy target for dislike.
During a dinner engagement with Orko at the former palace of Jabba the Hutt, Gorga proposed that the Desilijic and H'uun families should unite. Orko was aghast upon learning of the romantic involvement between Anachro and Gorga, and he vehemently objected. Nevertheless, Orko retracted his objections once Gorga enlisted the services of Boba Fett, the renowned bounty hunter, to apprehend the notorious Bar-Kooda. To commemorate the occasion, the trio consumed the remains of Bar-Kooda.

Both Orko and Gorga were secretly plotting to eliminate the other. Orko intended to assassinate Gorga post-marriage, with the goal of leveraging the resulting funds to establish a business venture with his daughter. However, Gorga engaged Hirsoot, Orko's disgruntled servant. Hirsoot's initial attempt to end Orko's life failed when Orko's hand stick broke the poisoned drink in his hand. In a subsequent attempt, Hisroot aimed to crush Orko with a ceiling light during a massage session. Ironically, when gunfire struck Orko's vessel, causing widespread chaos, the light fell upon Hirsoot as Orko stumbled onto him in a fit of rage. Orko confronted Gorga, suspecting him of orchestrating the attack on his ship. After Anachro clarified that Gorga was not responsible, Orko expressed regret. However, Boba Fett, familiar with Gorga's nature, sensed that the conflict was far from resolved.

Fett's intuition proved accurate, as Gorga soon contracted him to eliminate Orko. Concurrently, Anachro reached out to her father to share news of her pregnancy. Orko's reaction to the news of his impending grandchild was not as enthusiastic as his daughter had anticipated. Shortly after the transmission, Hirsoot was about to stab Orko when Fett kicked open the door and knocked Hirsoot to the floor. Fett informed Orko of his reputation as a formidable bounty hunter who could be bought. Orko responded that he would have money in the morning. However, that opportunity never materialized, as the enigmatic bounty hunter Ry-Kooda and his lieutenant, Boz, infiltrated Orko's chambers that very night. As Hirsoot placed a poisonous spider in Orko's sandwich, the two attacked. Orko and Hirsoot were devoured, dismembered, and torn apart by the fearsome hunters, who consumed portions of their victims.

Ry-Kooda then turned his attention to Anachro and Gorga. Anachro, believing Gorga had murdered her father, disregarded his warnings concerning Ry-Kooda. Following Ry-Kooda's defeat at the hands of Fett and Anachro's escape from further danger, Orko's grandchild was ultimately born.
