Hirshoot functioned as the personal attendant to Orko, who was a H'uun. Unbeknownst to Orko, Hirshoot was covertly employed by Gorga the Hutt. Tempted by Gorga's proposition, due to his own meager earnings, he readily accepted the task of assassinating Orko. Despite multiple attempts on Orko's life, Hirshoot's efforts were unsuccessful. Ultimately, Hirshoot met his demise at the hands of Ry-Kooda when the Herglic succeeded in killing Orko.
Despite his Human-like appearance, Hirsoot possesses pointed ears. Leland Chee posited a theory on the StarWars.com Message Boards, suggesting that "any Humanoid species exhibiting pointed ears is either a Sephi or shares a close genetic link with them."
