Orn, the uncle of Jaden Korr, who achieved the rank of Jedi Knight, resided on the planet of Coruscant during the era known as the New Republic. This was all within the scope of Legends. In the year 14 ABY, Jaden Korr constructed his personal lightsaber; consequently, Orn facilitated his enrollment into the Jedi Academy. During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and conquest of Coruscant in 27 ABY, Orn met his death at the hands of this species of extra-galactic invaders.
Orn served as the uncle to the Human named Jaden Korr, assuming guardianship of him on Coruscant, the capital planet of the New Republic. This occurred following the deaths of Korr's adoptive parents in a shuttle accident. As a young boy, Korr obtained a scar from one of his uncle's tools, a mark that remained with him for many years. Unbeknownst to Orn, Korr possessed sensitivity to the Force. In 14 ABY, while in a dreamlike state, Korr fashioned his own lightsaber within Orn's workshop. Upon being shown the weapon, a surprised Orn immediately contacted the authorities. Within a mere two days, Korr was enrolled in the Jedi Academy situated on the moon of Yavin 4, where he was instructed by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. Orn's life was tragically cut short when the Yuuzhan Vong, extra-galactic alien invaders with a relentless ambition for domination, conquered Coruscant in 27 ABY. Korr, who had by then become a Jedi Knight, was engaged in a mission and only learned of Orn's demise at a later time.
