The Outlaw's Den, also referred to as Region 92-2987 by the reborn Sith Empire, existed within the Jundland Wastes of the planet Tatooine.
Access to the Den was possible through the Northern Chasm, or alternatively, the Central Chasm situated to the south. The Outlaw's Den had a reputation as a place where laws were nonexistent. It was a frequent occurrence for both friends and foes to engage in combat, paying no attention to alliances.
The Outlaw's Den, a deserted settlement, had been fought over many times. Throughout the years, numerous gangs, pirate groups, and even indigenous Tusken Raiders laid claim to the area, yet none could maintain control over the ungoverned territory for very long. Legends spoke of a curse upon the land, while others claimed the spirits of killed colonists haunted the desolate region, inciting violence in those who trespassed. Even the most seasoned inhabitants and travelers deemed it dangerous and generally stayed away.
The Outlaw's Den was conceived for Star Wars: The Old Republic, a large-scale online multiplayer role-playing game launched by BioWare on December 20, 2011. Within the game, it functions as a zone where players can fight each other. A Galactic Trade Network terminal can also be found there.
