Owen K.C. Stephens

Owen K.C. Stephens is the creative mind behind a multitude of Star Wars Roleplaying Game publications. In 2000, Wizards of the Coast brought him on board as an Associate Game Designer, and he subsequently developed the Star Wars Roleplaying Game Fast-Play, which was available on the Wizards of the Coast website. Stephens' tenure at Wizards concluded in August 2001, at which point he resumed his career as a freelance game writer, while still contributing to Star Wars Roleplaying Game projects. He accepted a developer position at Green Ronin in 2013, followed by a similar role at Paizo Publishing in 2014. Mr. Stephens has either solely authored or co-authored a substantial collection of Star Wars Roleplaying Game books and articles, encompassing adventures featured on the Wizards of the Coast website and content for Star Wars Gamer. Among all authors, Mr. Stephens holds the distinction of having the most writer or co-writer credits for d20 Star Wars Roleplaying Game books. Furthermore, he is one of the three authors who collaborated on the Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook, which was released in 2007.

Beyond his contributions to the Star Wars universe, he has also lent his writing talents to numerous other RPG conversions, including The Wheel of Time, EverQuest, Gamma World, Black Company, and Thieves' World. Additionally, he has produced books and PDFs for various other RPGs, notably Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Starfinder, and D20 Modern, for publishers such as Wizards of the Coast, Paizo Publishing, and various third-party companies. Presently, he serves as the Starfinder Design Lead for Paizo Publishing, a developer for Green Ronin Publishing, and the owner and publisher of Rogue Genius Games.
