Padawan's traps were relics of the Jedi Order, safeguarded inside the Jedi monastery situated on the planet Al'doleem.
While Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a was in exile upon Al'doleem, the monastery served as a storage location for numerous Padawan's traps. These traps could be lifted into the air using telekinesis; this required significant focus and diverted attention away from combat. Infil'a was capable of gathering up to four Padawan's traps at once, while also engaging in combat with the training droid Arex that was stationed at the monastery.
