Loader droid

Droids specialized in loading, also known as loadlifter droids, cargo droids, freight droids, or even packing droids, represented a category of labor droid designed for the purpose of transporting substantial loads and various other items. A specific type of loader droid, known as binary loadlifters, possessed the unique characteristic of being limited to communication solely through the Binary language.

Around the year 23 ABY, Lando Calrissian employed a number of these droids at his GemDiver Station, which was located in proximity to Yavin. During the Second Imperium's raid targeting the station, the Solo twins and Lowbacca, who were attempting to escape the Imperial boarding party, came across a pair of these droids. Subsequently, these two droids met their demise at the hands of the Imperial boarders.
