In the initial years of the Empire's reign, the daily operations of the chop shop were overseen by Zegundis, a female Dressellian, and Ishtah, a male Kaleesh. After Luke Skywalker was born, Ben Kenobi arrived on Nar Shaddaa piloting General Grievous' starfighter, the Soulless One, with the intention of selling it to secure transport to Tatooine. Following a recommendation from Shnozitskigante-maximilliana, a Pacithhip docking bay worker, he proceeded to sell the vessel at Paolo's Chop Shop.
