Ojo's paper sculptures
Origami, or paper-folding, involved manipulating sheets of paper to produce ornamental or representational shapes. The distinctive shape of the Delta-class T-3c shuttle was inspired by Design Lead Lamilla Tion's interest in origami. Ojo, a Nautolan, engaged in origami while imprisoned within a Black Sun installation, utilizing it within his confinement.
Ruairí Coleman, a comic illustrator, incorporated origami figures into "The Second Chance" as an homage to the 1982 science fiction film Blade Runner. Within the context of the film, the character Gaff had a fondness for making origami figures, crafting creations reflective of the protagonist Rick Deckard's state of mind.
