Parker Brothers, originally known as the George S. Parker Company, became the name it is known by today when George's older brother, Charles, became involved in the business in 1888. This company holds the distinction of having launched the very first official Star Wars video game, titled Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, back in 1982. In addition to that title, they also put out other Star Wars games like Star Wars: Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle, Star Wars: Jedi Arena, Ewoks Save the Trees!, Wicket the Ewok and Friends, and Star Wars: Death Star Assault. During the era of the original trilogy's release, Parker Brothers also developed Star Wars board games, including one called "Adventures of R2-D2." Later, in the 1990s, they continued to release games, such as Trivial Pursuit: Star Wars Classic Trilogy Collector's Edition.
