The Path of the Closed Fist represented a faction operating within the larger Path of the Open Hand, itself a Force-based religious group residing on Dalna. Their core tenet was the conviction that the Force should remain untouched by all, most notably the Jedi. Its establishment occurred in the time leading up to the conflict referred to as the Night of Sorrow, initiated by Marda Ro, the then-leader of the Path of the Open Hand, who subsequently assumed the title of Guide of the Closed Fist. This group embraced a radically aggressive interpretation of the Path of the Open Hand's ideology, launching attacks and engaging in warfare against the Jedi during the Night of Sorrow. Their methods involved a substantial collection of arms in addition to the deployment of Nameless entities, which were predators specifically targeting individuals sensitive to the Force. Binnot Ullo was among its adherents.
