Paul Shipper, an artist, began his official Star Wars journey by creating art for a WizKids Games game box tin, specifically for the PocketModel: Ground Assault set, and subsequently provided illustrations for multiple supplements to the Star Wars Roleplaying Game by Wizards of the Coast.
Furthermore, Shipper designed the Dolby Cinema theatrical poster for the movie Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. He also produced key artwork for both Celebration Orlando and Celebration Chicago.
Additionally, Shipper created poster illustrations for the promotional campaign of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, encompassing the IMAX poster, the RealD 3D version, and the international poster, along with several official Star Wars cover artworks for Empire Magazine. The international poster for The Rise of Skywalker also featured as the cover image for the book Star Wars: Age of Resistance – The Official Collector's Edition.
In recognition of his contributions to the Star Wars universe, Paul was given an honorary membership in both the 501st and the UK Garrison in 2017.
