Mural

The original trilogy section of the mural

Lucasfilm Ltd. President Kathleen Kennedy commissioned a mural that visually represented the Star Wars franchise as it existed in 2019. Jason Palmer was the artist for the project, with Doug Chiang acting as the art director. Unveiled at Celebration Chicago, the mural displayed imagery from the prequel trilogy, original trilogy, sequel trilogy, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars Rebels. On the first day of Celebration Chicago, the section representing Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker was concealed.
