Laze Loneozner

Laze Loneozner, known by the moniker "Fixer", was a human male residing on the desert planet of Tatooine, situated in the Outer Rim, during the Age of the Empire. He shared a childhood friendship with Luke Skywalker and was romantically involved with Camie Marstrap. Due to feelings of inadequacy compared to Skywalker and their mutual friend Biggs Darklighter, Fixer would frequently belittle them with nicknames. Their social group also consisted of Deak and Windy. Loneozner managed Tosche Station, but dedicated the majority of his time to conversing and tinkering alongside Skywalker, Darklighter, and Marstrap.

Biography

Early life

Tatooine, a planet characterized by its arid desert landscape and intense [sun](/article/star] exposure, located within the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy, served as the homeworld of Laze Loneozner. He maintained a childhood friendship with Luke Skywalker and was in a relationship with Camie Marstrap. Fixer constantly felt out-performed by Skywalker and their friend Biggs Darklighter, and would often put them down using nicknames.

A mysterious stranger

Loneozner and Marstrap witness Boba Fett taking out the Nikto bikers.

At some point following Luke Skywalker's rescue of Han Solo, Loneozner and Marstrap had an encounter with a group of Nikto bikers at Tosche Station. The bikers proceeded to steal some of their possessions and drinks. Loneozner voiced his disapproval, despite Marstrap's attempts to discourage him. Subsequently, the Niktos initiated a physical assault on him. Marstrap tried to intervene, yelling at them to stop, but she was held back by one of the Niktos and was forced to watch the Niktos beat Loneozner with a shock stick. Amidst their ongoing struggle, the Niktos abruptly ceased their attack upon the arrival of Boba Fett. Fett then engaged the Niktos, defeating them individually, while Loneozner and Marstrap sought refuge in a corner, observing the events unfold.

Behind the scenes

During the initial production phase of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope (originally titled simply Star Wars) in 1976, several minutes of footage depicted Luke Skywalker spending time with his friends at Tosche power station. Anthony Forrest played the role of Fixer in these scenes. Although these scenes were ultimately omitted from the final theatrical release, they were still included in the film's novelization and the first issue of the Marvel Star Wars comic book adaptation of A New Hope. Furthermore, they were preserved in the 1981 Star Wars Radio Drama broadcast by National Public Radio. In this radio adaptation, Adam Arkin provided the voice for Fixer.

Fixer appeared in a few more stories and sourcebooks. These sources are part of Star Wars Legends, formerly known as the Expanded Universe, and are therefore not official canon. Nevertheless, Fixer and elements of his backstory achieved partial canonization through Topps's application, Star Wars: Card Trader, which launched in 2015.

In "Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine," the second episode of The Book of Boba Fett, Skyler Bible took on the role of portraying him.
