Bobby Moynihan, born on January 31, 1977, is a renowned voice actor, most famously recognized for his tenure as a cast member on the iconic show, Saturday Night Live.
In April of 2018, it was revealed that he would be lending his voice to the character of Orka in Star Wars Resistance. Furthermore, he provided the voice for Pintu Son-El in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars seventh season episode titled "Gone with a Trace."
During his time on Saturday Night Live, Moynihan played a key role in three sketches that were connected to Star Wars, all of which aired leading up to the release of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. In the episode broadcast on November 21, 2015, he impersonated George Lucas in a parody audition tape that featured appearances from J.J. Abrams, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega as themselves. He also played Danny DeVito auditioning for BB-8. In the episode of December 12, 2015, he was in a spoof commercial for Force Awakens toys, depicting a fan/collector aghast at seeing children playing with the collectibles. On January 15, 2016, in an episode hosted by Adam Driver, Moynihan portrayed a First Order Stormtrooper in the Undercover Boss sketch. Driver reprised his role as Kylo Ren, disguising himself as radar technician "Matt" to observe the employees of Starkiller Base.
