Biography

Morrison around the time of Episode II

In Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, Temuera Morrison took on the role of Jango Fett and all of the clone troopers. For Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Morrison served as the visual basis for the CGI clones. He also provided both acting and voice work for various Clone Commanders such as Cody, Davijaan "Odd Ball," Gree, Thire, and Appo. Furthermore, he portrayed Clone Captain Jag and Sergeant Fox. For the 2004 DVD release of the original trilogy, he replaced Jason Wingreen as the voice of Boba Fett. He has also voiced the Fetts and the clone troopers in numerous video games. He made his first live-action appearance as Boba Fett in "Chapter 9: The Marshal," an episode from the second season of The Mandalorian.

Following Morrison's appearance in Attack of the Clones, artists began using his likeness to represent unmasked Boba Fett and clone troopers. One of the earliest instances of this was in Chapter 21 of Star Wars: Clone Wars. Additionally, Infinities and Star Wars Tales stories have also depicted Boba Fett without his helmet, showing a strong resemblance to Morrison.

Leading up to the release of Revenge of the Sith in 2005, Morrison aired a special episode of his New Zealand talk show, The Tem Show. This episode celebrated his involvement in the Star Wars franchise and promoted the upcoming film. During the show, Morrison interviewed fellow New Zealand actors Jay Laga'aia, Bodie Taylor and Rena Owen, as well as George Lucas (affectionately known as "Uncle George"), Glen Kiser, Paul Giacoppo, Peter Daulton and Rick McCallum.
