CT-55/11-9009, more commonly known as Jag, was a clone trooper captain and also a pilot. In the waning hours of the Clone Wars, he served as a wingman for Jedi General Plo Koon. Jag originated on the planet of Kamino, where he was created via cloning from the genetic template of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. He underwent training to become a soldier within the navy of the Galactic Republic. During the year 19 BBY, Jag participated alongside Plo Koon and the soldiers of the 442nd Siege Battalion in the effort to capture Cato Neimoidia, utilizing his ARC-170 starfighter. Following their successful defeat of the Separatist forces that were occupying the world, Jag received Order 66 from the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Jag, without any hesitation, commenced firing upon Koon's Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor, resulting in the death of the Jedi Master and thereby completing his role in the events of the Great Jedi Purge.

The clone trooper known as CT-55/11-9009 adopted the name Jag. His origins trace back to the planet Kamino, where he was artificially created as a clone derived from the genetic material of the notorious bounty hunter, Jango Fett. Due to his excellent reflexes and awareness of his surroundings, he was selected for the clone trooper pilot program. He then served the Galactic Republic's navy throughout the duration of the Clone Wars. He eventually attained the rank of Clone Captain.
During 19 BBY, Jag was the wingman for Jedi General Plo Koon, who was also a member of the Jedi Council. They worked together during the Republic's campaign to capture [Cato Neimoidia](/article/cato_neimoidia], a key stronghold of the Trade Federation. Koon and Jag, supported by the 442nd Siege Battalion, successfully accomplished their objective. Following the conclusion of the battle, CT-55/11-9009 and Koon were patrolling the skies above the planet, safely positioned within the cockpits of their respective starships. While flying his ARC-170 starfighter, Jag received a communication from Darth Sidious, a Sith Lord and Master who concealed his identity. Sidious issued Order 66 to the clone captain. This command activated the secret behavioral modification biochip that had been implanted in Jag's brain, compelling him to kill his Jedi General. Jag obeyed the order without question and initiated an attack on Koon's Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor, which resulted in the Jedi's death. The remains of Koon's starfighter then crashed into one of the many bridge cities located below. Jag's actions played a part in the Great Jedi Purge, a galaxy-wide genocide that nearly led to the complete destruction of the Jedi Order.
Jag was a male human clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, standing at a height of 1.83 meters. He possessed black hair, brown eyes, and skin with a tan complexion. His remarkable spatial awareness and reflexes made him suitable to be trained as a clone trooper pilot. A prominent scar marked the right side of Jag's face. Like the majority of clone troopers, he carried out Order 66 without any hesitation, due to the control chip that was secretly placed within his brain.

Jag was equipped with a standard phase II clone trooper pilot flight suit, which was distinguished by its blue markings. He piloted an ARC-170 starfighter during the mission to capture Cato Neimoidia.
Jag's initial appearance, although without a specific name, was in the 2005 Star Wars saga film, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Temuera Morrison played him in the film. The reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know from 2015 later identified him by his nickname. His clone designation in Legends, CT-55/11-9009, was officially confirmed as canon in the Star Wars: X-Wing Second Edition — ARC-170 Starfighter Expansion Pack for Star Wars: X-Wing Second Edition.
In Kanan 2's depiction of Order 66 on Kaller, the young Padawan Caleb Dume witnessed Jag's betrayal through the Force just before his own clone troopers and his master were fired upon.
